How:
- 1. Go to Settings → Privacy → Download My Data
- 2. Choose format (JSON or CSV)
- 3. We'll prepare your export and email you (usually within 24 hours)
What's included:

Edit Your Data
Fix or update your information.

Delete Your Data
Remove anything you want—individual items or everything.
Delete Individual Items
Transactions, accounts, budgets, and goals can be deleted one by one. This is immediate and cannot be undone.
Delete Your Entire Account
How:
- 1. Go to Settings → Privacy → Delete My Account
- 2. Check the confirmation boxes
- 3. Enter your password
- 4. Click "Delete My Account Permanently"
What happens:

| Profile & email | Permanently deleted |
| All financial data | Permanently deleted |
| Subscription | Cancelled immediately |
| Payment history | Anonymized (legal requirement) |
| Backups | Purged within 30 days |
This is irreversible.
We cannot recover your data after deletion. If you sign up again, you start fresh with an empty account.
Tip: Export your data first if you want to keep a copy.
Pause Processing
Want us to stop using your data temporarily?
- • Email support@getsolvent.online
- • We'll freeze your account
- • Data stays but isn't processed
- • Reactivate or delete anytime
Useful if you have a concern you're working through with us.
Object to Processing
Don't want us to use your data for something specific?
Optional processing you can turn off:
- • Analytics (Settings → Privacy → Cookie Preferences)
- • Marketing emails (unsubscribe link in any email)
Essential processing (can't turn off):
- • Storing your financial data
- • Calculating budgets and projections
- • Maintaining your account
If you object to essential processing, you can delete your account.
